Quite rightly, fire protection is a topical landscape within the construction industry as ever-more stringent legislation and best practice guidelines have been introduced over recent years.
The tragic events at the Grenfell Tower, London, in 2017 highlighted the heart-breaking consequences of ill-conceived planning approval and construction techniques not fit for purpose in the modern age. We recognise that safety is absolutely paramount within our business and have created a dedicated Fire & Protection division to ensure that all our work fully complies with every aspect of current regulations.
Our full-time team of qualified and experienced Fire Protection engineers are employed to protect the interests of all parties involved in the construction and maintenance of any building, particularly those with multi-occupancy or used by the public. The list includes student accommodation, public sector buildings such as Councils and sports centres, schools and universities, plus commercial dwellings such as hotels, shopping centres and entertainment venues.
All of our work featured in the Completed Projects section of this site was delivered in full accordance with the Fire Safety Act 2021, Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Regulations 2023, all of which combine to provide a framework for the design and construction of both commercial and residential buildings.
