Appointed by Rengen Developments Limited, Stones Group transformed the garden area and exterior spaces of this newly built student accommodation complex. Inevitably, the grounds were in a rough state following the properties construction and substantial effort was required just to clear and level the site.

Situated on a busy main road, the plot was defined by the addition of sturdy walls built from characteristic Bath stone, matching paved walkways and larch fences which have already weathered beautifully. Having installed a new drainage system, the lawn areas were laid with fresh turf and gravel spread around a symmetrical set of galvanised bike stands; an adjacent timber storage shed equipped with more cycle racks was also added.

Completed in just twelve weeks which included periods of decidedly inclement weather, the combination of maturing lawns and borders and patinaed stonework has created a contemporary and popular communal space much appreciated by the students.
