Formed in October 2019, the business evolved organically from the commercial activities of Stones Security and Branded Schools as existing customers began requesting an array of additional building and maintenance services
The company grew immediately after winning numerous high-profile tenders for various commercial projects in both Bath and Bristol including converting largely derelict residential properties into holiday lets and student accommodation. Often vast in scope and requiring the full gambit of skilled tradespersons, plus an extensive knowledge of building regulations and interpreting architectural plans, these projects were completed both on time and within budget which further enhanced the Stones Group brand profile.
Unlike other building firms in the area, Stones Group has a permanent team of over forty staff many of whom possess a range of qualifications ranging from first aid and health and safety, to official Gas Safe and NICEIC accreditations. The team are continuously mentored by the visionary Transition 15 (www.transition15.com) organisation run by Matt Perry and Martin Haag, both ex-professional England rugby players of considerable standing.
Stones Group contributes to a variety of community and charity-based initiatives including raising money for the Forever Friends Appeal on behalf of Bath RUH (www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jsbs) and supporting the worthy endeavours of the Bath Rugby Community Foundation (www.bathrugbyfoundation.com).
